Vambe is a Chilean startup building AI sales agents that take over the high-volume, repetitive work of conversational commerce. Operating mainly across WhatsApp and Instagram, the two channels where much of Latin American B2C selling happens, Vambe's agents qualify inbound leads, answer product questions, handle objections, and move customers toward a purchase, working continuously so small commercial teams are not the bottleneck. The pitch is straightforward: most sales conversations in the region run through messaging apps, and automating them well directly grows revenue.
The company's trajectory illustrates the demand. Before pivoting fully into conversational AI in March 2024, Vambe had roughly 20,000 US dollars in annual recurring revenue; by that November, ARR had reached about 1 million US dollars, a steep climb that reflected how quickly merchants adopted AI agents once they reliably closed sales. Vambe serves over 300 clients, concentrated among B2C companies that depend on chat-driven sales.
Vambe was founded in 2023 by Nicolas Camhi, Matias Perez Pefaur, and Diego Chahuan, and is headquartered in Santiago, Chile. Its focus on the practical mechanics of messaging-based selling, rather than generic chatbots, has positioned it as a notable Latin American player in the fast-growing AI sales-agent category.
Vambe first raised a 3.85 million US dollar seed round led by Brazil-based Monashees, with participation from Mexico's Nazca and US-based M13. It subsequently announced a 14 million US dollar Series A, again led by Monashees, with participation from Cathay Latam, Atlantico, Tekton Ventures, and existing investors including Chile Ventures, SkyDeck Berkeley, Nazca, and M13. The capital funds product development and expansion of its AI-powered conversational-commerce platform across Latin America.
