Terms of Service

By accessing or using NeuronFeed (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

NeuronFeed is a curated directory of AI startups, investors, deals, news, and editorial content. We aggregate publicly available information and editorial analysis. Content is provided for informational purposes only and is not financial, legal, or investment advice.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for activity on your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for ensuring information you submit is accurate. You must be at least 16 years old.

3. Acceptable use

  • Do not scrape, mirror, or systematically extract the directory beyond what robots.txt and our API permit.
  • Do not submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or infringes others' rights.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the Service or bypass authentication or rate limits.
  • Do not impersonate a startup, investor, or person you are not authorized to represent.

4. User submissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting, you grant NeuronFeed a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, edit (for clarity, length, formatting), and distribute that content as part of the Service. We may decline, edit, or remove any submission without notice.

5. Editorial independence

NeuronFeed publishes scores (NeuronScore), rankings, and editorial reviews. These reflect our methodology and judgment. They are not endorsements, investment recommendations, or guarantees of future performance. Sponsored content is clearly labeled.

6. Intellectual property

The site, design, and aggregate database are © NeuronFeed. Logos, trademarks, and product names belong to their respective owners and are used under fair-use directory conventions.

7. Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound links to startups, deals, or partners are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence editorial coverage or scores.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information is accurate, complete, or current at any given time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeuronFeed and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NeuronFeed and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from content you submit, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

11. DMCA / copyright takedown

If you believe content on NeuronFeed infringes your copyright, send a notice that includes:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its URL on NeuronFeed
  • Your contact information (name, email, postal address, phone)
  • A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Send notices to: [email protected]. We respond within 14 days; valid notices result in removal. Repeat infringers are terminated. Filing a knowingly false notice may expose you to liability.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if your continued use creates risk to the Service or other users. You can delete your account anytime via account settings or by emailing us. Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, and 15 survive termination.

13. Dispute resolution and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt informal resolution within 30 days. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of London, United Kingdom, except where applicable consumer-protection law grants you rights to your local courts.

14. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages of upstream providers (Cloudflare, Resend, OpenRouter, etc.), governmental action, cyberattacks, or natural disasters.

15. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NeuronFeed regarding the Service.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top and announced to registered users where reasonable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
