Music AI was founded in 2019 by Brazilian entrepreneurs Geraldo Ramos, Eddie Hsu, and Jardson Almeida. Its consumer product, Moises, lets musicians separate vocals and instruments, change key and tempo, generate chord charts, and practice along to any track; it was named Apple's iPad App of the Year in 2024.

Beyond the app, Music AI operates an enterprise platform and developer APIs for high-quality audio processing and music intelligence, positioning itself as an 'AI-first' and ethical company that builds on consented and licensed data rather than scraped catalogs.

In January 2025 Music AI raised a $40M Series A (a $30M primary plus $10M secondary) led by Connect Ventures, the CAA and NEA investment partnership, alongside Brazilian VC monashees. Participants included Kickstart, Samsung Next, Toba Capital, and artists such as 3LAU and Freddy Wexler.

With the Moises platform surpassing 50 million registered users, Music AI spans both consumer creative tools and B2B audio infrastructure, targeting musicians, educators, and media companies that need rights-respecting AI audio processing.
