What Mews does

Mews is a cloud-native hospitality platform founded in 2012 by former hotelier Richard Valtr. It replaces legacy on-premise property management systems with an open, automation-first cloud covering the property management system (PMS), point of sale for food and beverage, integrated payments, booking engine, self-check-in kiosks and housekeeping workflows. An AI-powered revenue management system drives dynamic pricing and demand forecasting.

Open platform and scale

Mews serves more than 15,000 properties across 85+ countries and exposes an open public API with event-driven webhooks, plus a marketplace of over 1,000 connected apps. It is SOC 2, ISO and PCI DSS compliant, making it suitable for independent hotels and larger groups that want a modern, integration-friendly stack.

Funding and valuation

The company has raised roughly USD 710M across multiple rounds. Its USD 300M Series D in January 2026, led by EQT Growth with Atomico and HarbourVest, valued Mews around USD 2.5B. Pricing is modular and sales-led, combining the PMS with add-ons and payments.
