Tibo Energy builds an AI-powered energy management system that helps businesses and asset owners cope with grid congestion. Its platform forecasts on-site supply and demand and orchestrates batteries, EV chargers, solar, and other distributed energy resources to flatten peaks, avoid grid-connection bottlenecks, and lower energy costs. By intelligently scheduling when assets charge, discharge, and consume, Tibo lets companies do more with constrained grid connections, a growing problem across congested European grids. Founded in 2022 and based in Eindhoven, the company raised a 6 million euro seed round in June 2025 led by KOMPAS VC with participation from Hitachi Ventures, WEPA Ventures, SET Ventures, and Speedinvest, funding expansion into Germany and Belgium.
