immunitoAI is an Indian drug-discovery company applying artificial intelligence to one of biotech's hardest problems: designing new antibody therapeutics. Antibodies are among the most important modalities in modern medicine, but discovering and optimizing them is traditionally slow, expensive, and heavily dependent on wet-lab iteration. immunitoAI builds an AI stack that designs antibodies computationally, aiming to dramatically shorten timelines and reduce the cost of early discovery.

The company claims its technology can compress antibody development from the standard 4-5 years down to roughly 11-12 months, accelerating the path from target to viable candidate. Its platform is aimed at therapeutic areas with major unmet need, including cancer and infectious diseases, where faster antibody discovery could meaningfully change how quickly new treatments reach trials.

immunitoAI was founded in 2020 by Aridni Shah, who serves as CEO, and Trisha Chatterjee, who is co-founder and CTO. The team combines machine learning and computational biology expertise to build models that generate and rank candidate antibodies, narrowing the experimental search space before lab validation. Operating from Bengaluru, immunitoAI is part of a growing cohort of Indian deep-tech startups working at the intersection of AI and life sciences.

immunitoAI raised a $6.1M Series A (about Rs 54 crore). According to the company, prominent investor Ashish Kacholia contributed roughly $3M, with pi Ventures investing about $1.25M and Anicut about $1M. The round also drew new investors including 3one4 Capital and AC Ventures, alongside existing backers such as pi Ventures, Anicut Capital, JITO Incubation & Innovation Foundation, and LVX, plus the JJ Family and angels. The capital supports expansion of its AI-led antibody therapeutics pipeline.
