Terray Therapeutics is a drug discovery company that vertically integrates experimental chemistry and artificial intelligence. Rather than relying solely on public data, Terray invents its own nanotechnology-based hardware and runs ultra-high-throughput experiments to generate proprietary chemistry datasets at massive scale. The company reports having quantitatively measured more than 5 billion target-ligand interactions, roughly 50 times the entirety of publicly available chemistry data.

This data fuels tNova, Terray's integrated platform that combines generative AI, biology, medicinal chemistry, and automation to design novel small molecules. The platform powers both Terray's internal pipeline and partnered programs with pharmaceutical collaborators.

In October 2024, Terray closed an oversubscribed $120M Series B led by Bedford Ridge Capital with participation from NVIDIA's venture arm NVentures and other investors, doubling its prior raise. The capital is being used to progress internal programs into clinical trials and expand the tNova platform.

Terray was co-founded by Stripe co-founder Patrick Collison alongside biotech and chemistry veterans, reflecting a software-first, data-rich approach to therapeutics. The company is among a wave of AI-native biotechs aiming to translate computational design into clinically validated medicines.
