Quantinuum is an integrated quantum computing company created in 2021 by combining Honeywell Quantum Solutions' trapped-ion hardware with Cambridge Quantum's software. It operates some of the highest-fidelity quantum computers in the world (the H-Series), and develops a full software stack spanning quantum chemistry (InQuanto), cybersecurity (Quantum Origin), and quantum machine learning. As classical AI hits physical and energy limits, Quantinuum positions quantum computing as a complementary engine for hard problems in materials, drug discovery, finance, and optimization. Backed by Honeywell, the company raised approximately $600M in September 2025 at a $10B pre-money valuation, with investors including NVIDIA's NVentures, Quanta Computer, QED Investors, JPMorgan Chase, Mitsui, and Amgen, doubling its valuation from the prior year and funding its path toward universal, fault-tolerant quantum machines.
