What Taktile does
Taktile is a Berlin-based decisioning platform founded in 2020 by Maik Taro Wehmeyer and Maximilian Eber. It lets banks, insurers and fintechs automate high-stakes risk decisions such as credit underwriting, KYC/KYB onboarding, AML and fraud investigation, and claims. Its Decision Engine combines no-code and low-code logic with free-form Python rules and decision tables, while an AI Agent Manager and Case Manager add agentic automation with human-in-the-loop oversight.
Built for regulated finance
Taktile ships with deep pre-built integrations to credit bureaus and data providers including Experian, Equifax, TransUnion, Plaid, LexisNexis, Socure and Middesk, plus a Context Layer that unifies data and a Data Marketplace. This focus on regulated industries and explainability differentiates it from generic workflow tools.
Funding
Taktile has raised roughly USD 184M total. Its June 2026 Series C of USD 110M was led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, following a USD 54M Series B in 2025 led by Balderton Capital. The product is enterprise-only with custom, usage-based pricing.
