What is Respeecher?
Respeecher is a Ukrainian AI voice technology company founded in Kyiv in 2018 by Alex Serdiuk, Dmytro Bielievtsov, and Grant Reaber. Its speech-to-speech voice conversion preserves the timing, tone, and emotional intent of a source performance while rendering it in a target voice — a different approach from standard text-to-speech. That made it Hollywood's go-to for de-aging and recreating voices, most famously young Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, plus credits in God of War Ragnarok.
Products and ethics
Respeecher offers custom voice cloning services, a Voice Marketplace with 40+ pre-built AI voices (including a Pro Tools plugin), and Respeecher Space, a real-time TTS API for voice agents priced from $2 per hour on pay-as-you-go terms. The company is known for strict consent-based ethics: voices are only cloned with permission of the owner or estate.
