Civ Robotics builds rugged outdoor ground robots that automate construction surveying and layout. Its flagship CivDot and CivDot+ machines autonomously drive to survey coordinates and mark them with onboard spray paint, using an RTK receiver tied to a nearby base station plus an onboard IMU with tilt compensation, achieving 8 mm accuracy on CivDot+. A single untrained operator can mark between 1,000 and 5,000 points per day, against roughly 200 to 450 for a traditional survey crew, and no land-surveying experience or BIM model is required. The wider product line includes CivDot Mini for line marking on paved surfaces, plus CivNav and CivMove for machine control and heavy-machinery tracking. The robots work alongside Topcon, Trimble and Leica equipment.
