Exactly.ai is a London-based generative-AI startup founded in 2022 by Tonia Samsonova, a former journalist who previously sold the Q&A platform The Question to Yandex. The product lets artists and illustrators train a personal AI model on their own body of work; the resulting algorithm and all its outputs belong to the artist, who can then produce images in their signature style much faster and license them to clients such as media outlets and ad agencies. The company says it has more than 40,000 registered users who have uploaded several million images, and it also draws on over a million CC0-licensed public-domain artworks. ## Funding Exactly.ai raised a $4.3 million seed round announced in May 2024, led by Speedinvest with participation from InReach Ventures, Cornerstone VC, GuruDev Capital and angel investors.
