Digantara is an Indian space surveillance company building a space situational awareness (SSA) infrastructure layer combining infrared sensors in orbit and on the ground with AI-driven analytics software. Originally focused on tracking space debris and resident space objects that threaten satellites, Digantara has expanded into national-security missions including missile detection and tracking, positioning itself in space-based missile defense. Its sensors and data platform provide governments and commercial operators with intelligence on objects in orbit, enabling collision avoidance, threat warning, and domain awareness. Headquartered in Bengaluru, India, Digantara has launched surveillance payloads and continues to scale its constellation. In December 2025 it raised a $50M Series B from investors including 360 ONE Asset and SBI Investment, bringing total funding to about $64.5M.
