CHAOS Industries is a Los Angeles-based defense technology company founded in 2022 that develops sensing and effects systems built on what it calls Coherent Distributed Networks (CDN). Its flagship product line, Vanquish, is a distributed early-warning radar designed to be expeditionary and rapidly relocatable, marketed for tracking threats at ranges up to 250 km. The company acquired Ziva Corporation to extend its sensor stack, and in December 2025 the U.S. Army added CHAOS radar technology to an acquisition marketplace. In 2026 it announced its first European technology partnership, with Finland's Insta Defence & Aviation. The company grew from 27 employees at founding to more than 250, and reported manufacturing its 100th Vanquish-family radar in 2026.
Funding
CHAOS raised a $510 million Series D announced 13 November 2025 at a $4.5 billion valuation, led by Valor Equity Partners with participation from 8VC and Accel. The round brought the company's total funding raised to $1 billion. It followed a $275 million Series C raised roughly four months earlier.
