Demodesk is a Munich-based sales enablement platform that records and transcribes online, phone and in-person sales meetings in 98 languages and layers AI agents on top of the transcripts. Its AI Assistant produces SPICED-format meeting summaries and drafts follow-up emails; the AI Coach scores calls against configured sales playbooks; the AI Analyst answers natural-language reporting questions; the AI CRM Concierge auto-updates CRM fields; and AI Deal Insights tracks commitments and deal risk. Teams can also build custom agents. Demodesk processes all data EU-only on Azure Frankfurt, is GDPR-compliant and ISO 27001 certified, which positions it for European enterprises with data residency requirements. The company states it serves more than 300 companies and 20,000 users across Europe, and it offers a documented public REST API with webhooks for pulling recordings, transcripts, summaries and scorecards. Demodesk participated in Y Combinator's Winter 2019 batch.
Funding
Demodesk raised a $2.3M seed round announced in October 2019 with participation from Global Founders Capital, FundersClub, Y Combinator and Kleiner Perkins. In September 2020 it raised an $8M Series A led by Balderton Capital with participation from Target Global and FundersClub, bringing disclosed funding to roughly $10.3M.
