Yellow Blue is a Tokyo-based startup behind Blue One, a next-generation AI translation service aimed at professionals such as businesspeople, legal experts, and researchers. Its proprietary 'DeepContext AI' engine grasps the nuances of specialized terminology and the context within documents, and it can translate while preserving the original layout of PowerPoint, Word, PDF, Excel, and image files across 28 languages. The company says Blue One can cut translation workload by up to 90% based on internal research, targeting high-stakes professional documents where accuracy and formatting matter. In April 2026 Yellow Blue closed a seed round of JPY 70 million (about $0.45M) led by mint to develop the Blue One service.
