What Wondercraft does

Wondercraft is the "Canva of audio" — a generative AI studio that lets any creator produce studio-quality podcasts, audio ads, audiobooks, meditations, and training content by typing in plain language. The platform combines AI voice cloning and synthesis (including a deep ElevenLabs integration), script generation, multi-speaker dialogue, music and sound-effect libraries, multilingual production, and a browser-based timeline editor that looks more like Canva or Google Docs than Pro Tools. A podcast that would take a small team a full day in a studio can be drafted, edited, and exported from Wondercraft in under an hour.

Wondercraft already powers production for some of the biggest names in podcasting, including Diary of a CEO and the CoinDesk podcast network, plus dozens of major brand and advertising clients producing high-volume audio campaigns. After launching its Audio Studio in 2024, the company has expanded into multilingual ad production — letting marketers generate the same ad in 30+ languages in minutes — and into AI hosts that can voice entire branded podcast series.

Who it's for

Wondercraft targets creators, brands, advertisers, and media companies who produce a lot of audio — podcasts, ads, audiobooks, training, marketing — and want studio quality without a studio. The product is popular with marketing teams, branded podcast networks, and indie creators who treat audio as a primary distribution channel.

Pricing

Wondercraft offers tiered subscriptions for creators and teams, plus enterprise plans for brand and agency customers, with usage-based credits for AI generation.

Team & funding

Wondercraft was founded in 2023 in London by Dimitris Nikolaou (CEO, ex-Palantir), Youssef Rizk (CTO, ex-Palantir), and Oskar Serrander (COO, ex-Acast, Spotify, iHeartMedia). The company raised a $3M seed round in January 2024 led by Will Ventures, with backing from Y Combinator, ElevenLabs, and angel investor Steven Bartlett (Diary of a CEO). Total disclosed funding is approximately $3.5M across two rounds. Wondercraft has offices in London, New York, and Cairo.

Position vs competitors

Wondercraft competes with Descript, Podcastle, Riverside, Castmagic, and Adobe Podcast on the production side, and increasingly with NotebookLM-style AI podcast generators. Its differentiation is the "document-style" audio editor combined with deep multi-language production and creator/agency-grade voice quality powered by ElevenLabs and proprietary models.
