Wedge builds an operating system for healthcare AI agents, positioning itself as 'Palantir for Healthcare AI Agents.' The platform helps hospitals and health plans deploy, govern, and scale AI agents that automate back-office operations across records, claims, coding, payments, and governance, forward-deploying engineering talent inside health institutions to build custom agentic solutions. Wedge was co-founded by Devraj Gopal, formerly of Stanford AI working on health AI at Stanford and Johns Hopkins Medicine, and Steven Segawa, a former Berkeley CS engineer who built and fine-tuned ML models at Nvidia, Rivian, SoFi, and Intel. The company is based in San Francisco and went through Y Combinator's Summer 2025 batch.
