Traversal is a New York-based company building an AI site-reliability engineering agent for complex enterprise systems. Unlike traditional monitoring tools that flag surface symptoms, Traversal's agent orchestrates tool calls and analyzes large-scale datasets to pinpoint the true root cause of production incidents in real time, dramatically cutting mean-time-to-resolution. Founded in 2024 by Raj Agrawal, Ahmed Lone, Anish Agarwal and Raaz Dwivedi, the company launched out of stealth in 2025 having raised $48M across seed and Series A rounds led by Sequoia and Kleiner Perkins, with participation from NFDG, Hanabi and later a strategic investment from Amex Ventures.
