Suki is a healthcare AI company building an ambient voice assistant that helps clinicians draft notes, answer chart questions and complete administrative work inside their existing electronic health record. Founded in 2017 by former Google, Motorola and Flipkart executive Punit Soni alongside Karthik Rajan, Suki is headquartered in Redwood City, California.

The company's flagship product, Suki Assistant, listens during a patient encounter, generates a structured clinical note that follows the clinician's preferred format, and pushes it into systems including Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Athenahealth, Meditech and others. Suki also handles dictation, coding suggestions, patient summaries and natural-language questions over the chart, positioning itself as a full ambient assistant rather than a single-purpose scribe.

Suki has built deep EHR integrations and a clinician-tuned medical language model, and reports that its assistant reduces documentation time by roughly 72% on average. The platform is deployed at more than 350 health systems and clinics across the United States, ranging from large integrated delivery networks to independent specialty practices.

In October 2024 Suki closed a $70M Series D, bringing total funding to approximately $168M from investors including Venrock, March Capital, Flare Capital, Breyer Capital and First Round. In early 2025 Zoom Ventures took a strategic stake, and Suki announced an expanded partnership with Google Cloud that brings Vertex AI into features like patient summaries and clinical Q&A.

Suki competes with Abridge, Nuance DAX Copilot (Microsoft), Ambience Healthcare, DeepScribe and a growing field of ambient scribes. Its long-running focus on voice, multi-EHR support and a platform strategy that licenses its tech to partners differentiates it in an increasingly crowded but rapidly adopted segment of healthcare AI.
