Senai is an Israeli AI company that coined the term Online Video Intelligence (OVINT) to describe its mission: treating the vast volume of online and social media video as a primary source of intelligence rather than a secondary by-product. Founded in 2025, Senai builds a multimodal AI platform that ingests scattered clips from across the web and transforms them into structured, location-specific, analyzable intelligence, addressing the reality that critical real-world information increasingly surfaces first in video rather than text.

The platform combines several AI disciplines, computer vision, audio analysis, natural language processing, and geospatial inference, to understand what is happening in footage, where, and when. By fusing these modalities, Senai can convert oceans of raw, unstructured video into organized intelligence products that analysts can search, filter, and act on. This represents a specialized application of AI video understanding focused on security and situational awareness rather than content creation.

Senai raised a $6.2 million seed round led by 10D Ventures, a Tel Aviv firm focused on deep-tech, AI, cybersecurity, and defense tech, with participation from FS Ventures, 1948 Ventures, and strategic investors including Jonathan Kolber. The capital funds accelerated product development and expanded deployments with intelligence and law-enforcement agencies, alongside expansion into the US market and a B2B model. Led by CEO David Allouche-Levinsky, the company spent its early period testing technology in live environments with government partners across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Senai's thesis is that as video becomes the dominant medium of online communication, the ability to systematically extract intelligence from it becomes essential for security organizations. By building purpose-built multimodal AI for video understanding and targeting intelligence and law-enforcement use cases, Senai aims to define and lead the emerging OVINT category, positioning video analysis as core infrastructure for modern situational awareness.
