RLWRLD is a South Korean physical-AI startup building robotics foundation models that enable robots to reason and act autonomously in real-world industrial settings such as factories, warehouses and logistics hubs. The company focuses on dexterous manipulation, contact-rich tasks like grasping, pouring and tool use, and in 2026 unveiled RLDX-1, a dexterity-first foundation model for humanoid and industrial robots designed to generalize across the variability of real industrial environments. Founded by Jung-hee Ryu, whose prior company Olaworks was acquired by Intel, RLWRLD's team includes KAIST chair professor Jinwoo Shin and former Kurly CTO talent. The company raised a $15 million seed in 2025 from a coalition including LG Electronics, SK Telecom, KDDI, ANA Holdings, Mitsui Chemicals, Hashed, Mirae Asset and Global Brain. In February 2026 it added a $26 million Seed 2, bringing total funding to roughly $41 million, with Headline Asia and Z Venture Capital plus strategics like CJ Logistics, Kakao Investment and Lotte Ventures, funding scaling of its industrial robotics AI.
