Rippletide is a French AI startup focused on building next-generation AI agents for sales teams. Founded in 2024 by serial entrepreneur Patrick Joubert, the company tackles two related problems: the administrative drag that slows down human sellers and the slow response times that cause inbound leads to go cold. To address them, Rippletide offers both an AI sales copilot that handles deal busywork and an autonomous AI sales representative that engages, qualifies, and nurtures inbound leads automatically.
The AI sales copilot is designed to let reps offload the repetitive tasks that surround selling, freeing them to focus on relationships and complex deals. The autonomous sales rep goes further, engaging inbound leads instantly, qualifying them, nurturing across multiple channels, and booking meetings or closing simple transactions without requiring a human in the loop for every step. Together, the products aim to compress response times and keep pipeline moving.
What sets Rippletide apart is its emphasis on trustworthy and explainable AI. The company moves decision logic out of large language models and into a structured decision system it describes as a Hypergraph Decision Database. This approach is intended to make the agents' behavior more reliable, auditable, and consistent than relying on an LLM's opaque reasoning alone, an important consideration for enterprises wary of unpredictable AI in customer-facing roles.
Rippletide raised a seed round of roughly €4 million (about $4.7 million), with backing led by OneRagtime and participation from business angels from Meta, AWS, BCG, Loft Orbital, and BDO. The capital supports Rippletide's expansion across Europe and the US as it builds out its explainable AI agent platform for revenue teams.
