Rad AI is a San Francisco healthcare AI company founded in 2018 by Doktor Gurson and radiologist Jeff Chang. It was one of the first companies to commercialize a generative AI product in healthcare, with its flagship Rad AI Reporting product automatically generating draft radiology report text in seconds to save radiologists time and reduce fatigue. Radiology accounts for a large share of US healthcare spending and imaging data, and Rad AI's tools are used across hospitals and radiology practices.
