Qventus is an operational AI platform that helps hospitals and health systems run more efficiently by predicting bottlenecks, prescribing actions, and automating the workflows that keep patients moving through the system. Founded in 2012 by Mudit Garg and Ian Christopher and part of YC's W15 batch, the company has evolved from a real-time situational awareness tool into a full suite of AI Teammates that own discrete operational jobs across perioperative, inpatient, ED, and pharmacy settings.

The core platform combines generative AI, machine learning, and behavioral science to anticipate operational issues hours or days before they happen, then route the right nudges or automated actions to the right staff. Its Surgical Growth solution proactively fills OR block time, accelerates surgical scheduling, and increases case volume, while its Inpatient Flow product reduces length of stay by orchestrating discharge planning. AI Teammates handle work like authorization, documentation outreach, and scheduling, integrating tightly with Epic and Cerner.

In January 2025, Qventus closed a $105M Series D led by KKR with participation from Bessemer and strategic investors Northwestern Medicine, HonorHealth, and Allina Health, bringing total funding to $200M. The company supported over half a million surgeries in 2024, drove a 35% lift in robotic-assisted procedures across customers, and reported $95M in annualized contribution margin generated for Surgical Growth clients.
