Sentra is a cloud-native data security platform (DSPM) that gives enterprises continuous discovery, classification, and protection of sensitive data across multi-cloud and AI environments. As organizations adopt generative AI, Sentra helps ensure sensitive data does not leak into misconfigured AI workflows, providing data security posture management and data-centric controls at scale. Founded by Unit 8200 veterans, the Israeli company is led by CEO Yoav Regev (former head of the Cyber Department in Unit 8200), with co-founders Asaf Kochan (President, former Unit 8200 Commander), Ron Reiter (CTO), and Yair Cohen (VP Product). In April 2025 Sentra closed a $50M Series B led by Key1 Capital, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Zeev Ventures, Standard Investments, and Munich Re Ventures, bringing total funding past $100M following more than 300% year-over-year revenue growth.
