Punto Health is creating a full-stack operating system for dementia care, addressing a condition where early detection and coordinated, ongoing support are notoriously difficult. Founded in 2023 in London by engineers Anna Munoz-Farre and Jack Eckersley, the company has built a multilingual digital platform that connects the three groups at the center of dementia care: patients, carers, and clinicians. By unifying them on a single system, Punto Health aims to replace fragmented, episodic care with continuous, personalized support.
The platform is organized around several core products. PuntoTest is an AI-powered, speech-based digital test for assessing cognitive impairment in adults, using vocal and linguistic biomarkers to detect signs of decline earlier than traditional methods. PuntoCare is a companion app for patients, carers, and active seniors that provides care plans, cognitive stimulation exercises, nutrition advice, symptom tracking, physical-activity guidance, and other wellness support, helping families manage day-to-day care while clinicians stay informed.
Punto Health's approach reflects a broader shift toward early, accessible cognitive screening and structured at-home support, areas where speech-based AI is especially promising because it is non-invasive, scalable, and language-aware. The company's multilingual design positions it to serve diverse populations across multiple countries, an important consideration given how underserved many communities are by existing cognitive-care tools.
In December 2025, Punto Health raised a EUR 2.3 million (about $2.7 million) seed round co-led by Shilling VC and Plus Partners, with participation from Exceptional Ventures, Heartfelt, Fondo Bolsa Social, and ABAC Nest, building on an earlier EUR 718.5k pre-seed investment. The funding accelerates product development and commercial expansion across the UK and Spain as the company scales its speech-AI platform for dementia detection and care.
