Based in Ulm, Germany, NVision develops quantum-enhanced sensing for healthcare. Its POLARIS platform uses quantum hyperpolarization to amplify the magnetic signal of metabolic tracers such as labeled pyruvate by more than four orders of magnitude, making them visible to conventional MRI machines and allowing clinicians to watch tissue metabolism in real time, a capability with major implications for early cancer detection and treatment-response monitoring. The company is now extending its quantum stack into computing with PIQC, described as a quantum computing platform based on molecular quantum nodes native to photonic chips, to support end-to-end therapy design and validation. In May 2026 NVision announced a $55M Series B anchored by Abbott as sole strategic diagnostics investor, with participation from CDP Venture Capital, Playground Global, Matterwave/b2ventures, and Entrée Capital, plus a $17M venture loan from the European Investment Bank, bringing total capital raised to roughly $120M.
