Liminal Experiences is a fully remote game studio using AI to empower human-centered creativity. Its platform turns game creation into a game: with AI tools, players can build their own immersive RPG-style worlds, bring original heroes to life, and collaborate with friends on shared adventures, lowering the barrier to user-generated content while extending engagement. Founded in 2022 by ex-Riot Games leaders, Liminal emerged from stealth in March 2025 with $5.8M in seed funding from heavyweight games backers, and later revealed its first title, Liminal: Skies. The company aims to put creation power in players' hands rather than positioning AI as a replacement for human imagination.
