DevRev was founded in 2020 by Dheeraj Pandey, the former co-founder and CEO of Nutanix, together with Manoj Agarwal, former SVP of engineering at Nutanix. Their thesis was that the deepest problem in customer support is organizational: support agents, product managers and developers all work in separate systems, so customer pain rarely reaches the people who can actually fix it. DevRev was built to collapse that divide by putting customers and builders on one platform powered by a shared knowledge graph.

At the core of DevRev is what the company now calls Computer, an AI engine with native shared memory across the organization's data. DevRev's patented Airdrop technology ingests and unifies previously siloed sources, then organizes them into a customizable knowledge graph. On top of that, AI agents handle customer questions, take actions, and escalate the genuinely complex cases to the right human expert with full context. The company says its support agents can resolve a large majority of inbound tickets automatically.

For support teams, DevRev offers a modern helpdesk with conversational AI, a self-service customer portal, and analytics that connect ticket trends to product issues. For product and engineering teams, the same graph surfaces customer signals directly inside the development workflow, so feature requests, bug reports and usage data inform the roadmap. This dual-sided design is what distinguishes DevRev from pure support tools and pure dev tools.

In August 2024 DevRev announced a $100.8 million Series A that valued the company at roughly $1.15 billion, bringing total funding to more than $150 million. Investors include Khosla Ventures, Mayfield Fund and Param Hansa Values, the family office of founder Dheeraj Pandey. With an experienced enterprise-software founding team and a differentiated architecture, DevRev targets product-led companies that want support and engineering to operate from one source of truth.
