About this event

NVIDIA GTC, the GPU Technology Conference, has evolved from a niche graphics developer event in 2009 into the unofficial Super Bowl of artificial intelligence. The 2026 edition runs March 16-19 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center and the surrounding SAP Center, hosting roughly 25,000 in person attendees and another 300,000 virtually. The conference is anchored by Jensen Huang opening keynote, which has become the single most watched product announcement in the technology industry, routinely setting the agenda for AI infrastructure investment for the year ahead.

The programming spans over 1,000 sessions across every dimension of accelerated computing: foundation model training and inference, robotics and physical AI, autonomous vehicles, drug discovery and computational biology, weather and climate simulation, financial services, and the AI factory architectures that power frontier labs. Hands on workshops from NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute, hundreds of technical talks from partners including OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Amazon, and the entire startup ecosystem, plus a sprawling expo make GTC the most concentrated week of AI signal each year.

The attendee mix is unique among AI conferences: enterprise architects, ML engineers, hardware designers, robotics teams, automotive engineers, and the leadership of essentially every company doing serious AI work. Virtual registration is free, making the keynote and many sessions globally accessible, while in person tickets unlock the workshops, expo, and networking. For anyone whose job touches AI infrastructure, model training, or accelerated computing, GTC is the calendar anchor of the year.
