Based in Miami with operations in El Salvador, Sortium was founded by Marc Seal, Alex Rozgo and Eaven Portillo. The company raised a $4M-plus round in April 2024 led by Signum Growth, with ARK Investment Management, IDG Blockchain and others participating, building on an earlier seed round and bringing total funding past $11M.
