RUTILEA is a Kyoto-based industrial AI company that provides a zero-code vertical AI and AI development platform for manufacturers. Its technology uses computer vision and robot guidance to turn legacy factory cameras and robots into AI-powered inspectors, avoiding expensive hardware upgrades or code-heavy integrations, and extends into broader business-process automation. Founded in 2016 by Takashi Hattori and Takafumi Yano, the company has reached Series D stage.
Funding
RUTILEA has announced total funding of approximately JPY 8.6 billion including equity and debt. Investors include Global Brain, Daiwa House Ventures, Abies Ventures, Quantum Leap Capital Partners, the Shimadzu Future Innovation Fund and Star Micronics Holdings; in July 2025 it raised additional venture funding from Quantum Leaps Capital Partners.
