Runable is part of India's fast-growing wave of agentic AI startups, building a general-purpose AI agent that can carry out digital tasks across the browser, desktop, and mobile environments. Where many automation tools require rigid scripts or RPA configuration, Runable is designed to take higher-level goals and execute multi-step workflows autonomously, acting more like a digital worker than a macro recorder.

The platform centers on customizable runbooks: reusable definitions of how a task should be accomplished, which the agent can then run on demand or on a schedule. This covers a broad range of digital work, from navigating websites and extracting data to running analyses and handling meeting-related tasks. By combining a low-code or no-code interface with autonomous agent execution, Runable aims to make AI automation accessible to non-engineers while remaining flexible enough for complex flows.

Runable is backed by Together Fund, the operator-led venture firm, which lists the company in its portfolio, and operates from India as part of a cohort of more than 100 agentic AI startups founded in the country since 2023. Investment in Indian agentic AI nearly doubled in 2025, and Runable has been highlighted among the standout names raising significant capital during this surge.

Runable raised upwards of $10M from Nexus Venture Partners, a leading early-stage investor active across AI, enterprise software, and consumer in both India and the US. Nexus has emphasized that agentic AI is reshaping how work gets done across industries, and its backing positions Runable to expand its agent capabilities and grow adoption among users looking to offload routine digital tasks to AI.
