Prophecy started as a low-code data engineering product for Apache Spark and has become an agentic AI data preparation and analysis platform. A user states a business goal in plain English; Prophecy's agents inspect the connected data, build a pipeline, and render it as a visual workflow that analysts and engineers can inspect, refine and validate before it runs in production. Everything is stored as open code in Git rather than a proprietary binary format, and pipelines execute natively on Databricks, Snowflake and Google BigQuery, with an embedded DuckDB engine for standalone processing. Other components include a Knowledge Graph for data discovery, integrated scheduling, monitoring and orchestration, and one-click importers for existing Alteryx and Informatica workflows. Enterprise tiers add SSO, SAML 2.0, SCIM, audit logs and the ability to bring your own model endpoint from Anthropic, OpenAI or a cloud provider. Published customers include HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, Amgen, Clearwater Analytics and Deutsche Telekom.
