Otera, previously known as DeepOpinion, is an Austrian enterprise automation company based in Innsbruck. Its platform combines agentic AI, business-process digitization and no-code development so teams can build AI apps that automate complex, knowledge-intensive tasks and reach high straight-through-processing rates, with a strong focus on document-heavy workflows like insurance and disaster claims. The company was founded in 2018 and rebranded from DeepOpinion to Otera in early 2025. Named customers include Allianz, HannoverRe, Erste Group, Bitpanda and Siemens.
Funding
DeepOpinion (now Otera) raised a EUR 11 million Series A in September 2024, co-led by Red River West and Alpha Intelligence Capital with participation from existing backers Lunar Ventures and Stride VC.
