What Orkes Does

Orkes is an orchestration platform for durable workflows and AI agents, built on the open-source Conductor framework originally created at Netflix. It lets developers design, deploy, and operate complex workflows that coordinate microservices, APIs, tools, and agentic decision-making at scale, with human-in-the-loop controls where needed. The platform offers a visual workflow editor, SDKs across Java, Python, Go, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript, real-time monitoring and analytics, and an enterprise cloud with a 99.99% availability SLA. Orkes powers production workloads for organizations including Tesla, LinkedIn, JPMorgan, and American Express.

Funding & Background

Orkes is headquartered in Santa Clara, California and was founded by Jeu George (CEO), Viren Baraiya (CTO), Boney Sekh, and Dilip Lukose (CPO), the team that built Netflix's Conductor. In April 2026 Orkes raised a $60M Series B led by AVP, with new investor Prosperity7 Ventures and existing backers Nexus Venture Partners, Battery Ventures, and Vertex Ventures US participating, as developers increasingly use the platform to deploy AI confidently in production.
