Origin Lab operates a two-sided platform connecting video game publishers with AI world-model labs. It captures frame-synced video, audio, human inputs, camera telemetry, physics states and annotations from licensed game titles, then converts those rich game worlds into structured training data for spatial and world-understanding models. World-model labs such as AMI Labs and World Labs can license high-quality datasets, while publishers monetize digital assets they have already built. With 50-plus licensed titles and 20-plus publisher partners, Origin Lab raised an $8M seed led by Lightspeed in 2026 to scale its capture, enrichment, QA, search and delivery systems and applied research in world understanding and interactive simulation.
