Onehouse provides a fully managed data lakehouse service that writes to a customer's own cloud object storage using open table formats rather than a proprietary warehouse format. It supports Apache Hudi, Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake simultaneously, with multi-catalog sync so the same physical tables can be queried from Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery and open engines without copying data. The platform handles scaled ingestion with minute-level freshness, incremental transformation, and automated table maintenance. Two products launched alongside the 2024 Series B: Onehouse LakeView, a free cloud service that reports table stats and trends, timeline history, partition skew, file size distribution and compaction performance with proactive alerts; and Onehouse Table Optimizer, a managed service that performs incremental clustering, asynchronous compaction of small files, and advanced cleaning of data beyond time-travel retention. The company also drives the Apache XTable/OneTable interoperability project. Named partners include Amazon Web Services and Confluent.
Funding
Onehouse announced a $35 million Series B on June 26, 2024, led by Craft Ventures with participation from existing investors Addition and Greylock Partners. The company stated the round brought total funding to date to $68 million.
