Metaview is a London-based recruiting AI company founded in 2018 by Siadhal Magos, a former Uber product lead, and Shahriar Tajbakhsh, a former Palantir engineering lead. The company started with a sharp wedge: an AI notetaker purpose-built for hiring conversations. Interviews are among the richest sources of signal in recruiting, yet that signal is routinely lost to hurried, inconsistent manual notes. Metaview records, transcribes, and intelligently summarizes interviews, producing structured notes and scorecards so recruiters and hiring managers can stay fully present in the conversation rather than typing.

From that notetaking foundation, Metaview has expanded into a broader AI recruiting platform. It uses the structured data captured from real interviews to power downstream tasks, including generating interview reports, drafting job posts, and supporting candidate search, all grounded in the actual context of a company's hiring process. Because its AI is built specifically for recruiting rather than adapted from a generic meeting tool, the outputs are tuned to the needs of talent teams, with attention to fairness, consistency, and the structured evaluation that good hiring requires.

Metaview reduces administrative burden, improves the quality and consistency of interview documentation, and helps hiring teams make better-informed decisions. Its customers include Brex, Personio, Pleo, On Running, Sony, and Quora, reflecting adoption across high-growth and established companies.

Metaview raised a $7M round led by Plural, with Coelius Capital, Vertex Ventures US, Seedcamp, and Village Global participating, and subsequently raised a $35M Series B led by GV (Google Ventures). The funding supports Metaview's evolution from a best-in-class interview notetaker into a comprehensive, vertical AI platform for recruiting.
