Headquartered in New York, Lumia was founded by Omri Iluz, co-founder of PerimeterX (acquired by HUMAN Security), and Bobi Gilburd, former CTO of Israel's Unit 8200. In December 2025 the company raised an $18M seed round backed by Team8 and added Admiral Michael Rogers, former NSA and U.S. Cyber Command director, to its advisory board.
