What Locofy does
Locofy is a Singapore-based AI design-to-code platform founded in 2021 by Honey Mittal and Sohaib Muhammad. It converts Figma and Adobe XD designs into production-ready frontend code in one click, supporting React, React Native, Next.js, Gatsby and HTML/CSS. Its Locofy Lightning engine is powered by proprietary Large Design Models (LDMs) trained specifically to understand UI designs.
Faster frontend handoff
The platform generates clean, responsive code with auto-created reusable components, interactivity and animation tagging, real-time preview and customization. Output can be synced to GitHub or exported to VS Code, helping frontend teams ship up to ten times faster while keeping design fidelity.
Funding and pricing
Locofy has raised roughly USD 7.5M, including a USD 3M pre-seed led by Accel and a USD 4.25M seed led by Northstar Ventures, with angels including Dropbox co-founder Arash Ferdowsi. It uses a freemium, token-based model: 600 free tokens on signup, with Starter and Pro subscriptions plus pay-as-you-go.
