Lawhive is an all-in-one technology platform and marketplace that connects consumers and small businesses with solicitors for affordable legal help. Solicitors use Lawhive to check and onboard clients, share files securely, invoice, and get paid, working with their own clients or being matched with consumers through the marketplace. The company built Lawrence, an AI paralegal that automates routine legal tasks and passed part one of the UK's Solicitors Qualifying Examination in testing. Founded in 2019 in London by Pierre Proner, Jaime Van Oers, and Flinn Dolman, Lawhive raised a $40M Series A in December 2024 co-led by GV (Google Ventures) and TQ Ventures, with participation from Balderton Capital, Jigsaw, and Episode 1, to fund US expansion.
