What is Keeper?

Keeper is an AI-powered matchmaking platform for people seeking marriage and long-term commitment rather than casual dates. Instead of endless swiping, members complete a deep psychometric intake — over 100 data points versus the handful of questions typical dating apps collect — and Keeper's AI screens hundreds of thousands of candidates across personality, values, intelligence, lifestyle, and 800+ compatibility factors. Human matchmakers then hand-review each pairing before an introduction is made.

How matching works

Keeper uses a structured flow: women see a proposed match first; if interested, the man is shown her profile, and mutual interest triggers a facilitated introduction. Members are vetted for serious intent, and the company reports that roughly 1 in 10 Keeper first dates leads to marriage. More than 1.6 million people have signed up, and coverage has come from Fox News, Business Insider, and CNET.

Funding

Founded in 2022 by Jake Kozloski, Keeper announced a $4M pre-seed round led by Lightbank and Lakehouse Ventures with participation from Goodwater Capital and Champion Hill Ventures. Its success-based model — meaningful payment only when matches lead to lasting relationships — inverts the engagement-maximizing incentives of mainstream dating apps.
