Jungle Scout, founded in 2015 by Greg Mercer, is an Amazon seller intelligence platform headquartered in Austin, Texas. Originally launched as one of the first Amazon product research tools, it has grown into an all-in-one suite covering product discovery, keyword research, competitor tracking, sales estimation, listing optimization, inventory management, and advertising analytics. The platform helps sellers identify profitable opportunities, launch products, and scale brands on Amazon.

Jungle Scout uses large-scale Amazon marketplace data and predictive analytics, including AI-assisted features, to estimate demand, forecast sales, and surface high-potential niches and keywords. It serves individual sellers, agencies, and brands, and reports supporting tens of billions of dollars in annual Amazon revenue across its user base.

Funding

In March 2021, Jungle Scout announced $110 million in growth capital led by Summit Partners. The company operates on a tiered subscription model and has expanded its toolset to cover the broader Amazon and ecommerce growth lifecycle, including retail and advertising intelligence for established brands.
