The platform's core capability is instant insurance verification. HOOTL can answer more than 150 coverage questions automatically, pulling the detailed benefit information that determines what a patient owes and what a payer will reimburse. The company reports that practices reduce verification staff time by roughly 40%, cut denial rates by more than 50%, and recover between $1,200 and $4,000 per month per practice that would otherwise be lost to administrative friction and denied claims.
HOOTL is designed to slot into the tools dental practices already use, integrating with major practice management systems including Open Dental, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft. This interoperability is central to its value proposition, since staff turnover and disconnected systems are persistent pain points in dental administration.
