Einride is reimagining road freight as a digital, electric and autonomous system rather than a collection of diesel trucks. The company made history in 2019 as the first to operate an autonomous, electric vehicle on a public road. Today it serves Global Fortune 500 customers across the US, Europe and the UAE, combining its software, electric fleet and autonomous systems into an integrated freight offering rather than selling any single piece in isolation.

Founded in Sweden in 2016 by Robert Falck, Einride has positioned itself at the intersection of decarbonization and automation, two trends reshaping logistics. Saga sits at the core, turning fragmented freight operations into optimized, electrified movements that customers can scale.

In October 2025 Einride raised approximately $100 million from a mix of existing and new investors, including major shareholder EQT Ventures and a West Coast asset manager, plus an undisclosed strategic investment from quantum-computing company IonQ. The capital supports growth with existing customers and faster deployment of autonomous freight technology.

Einride's bet is that the future of freight is software-defined, electric and increasingly driverless, and that owning the full stack from planning to vehicles is the way to make that transition real at scale.
