Darwin AI is a Palo Alto-based govtech company founded in 2024 by CEO Noam Maital and CTO Asaf Fadida. The company offers two products: Darwin Govern, which helps agencies set AI policy, enforce records management, oversee data governance and maintain compliance across their AI environment to rein in 'shadow AI'; and LaunchPad, a platform for building and managing agentic AI workflows for HR, procurement, permitting and other repetitive government processes. Darwin works with state agencies including Texas, Ohio, California, Illinois and Washington. In October 2025 the company raised a $15M Series A led by Insight Partners, with participation from UpWest and Resolute Ventures.
