Comand AI is a French defense software company headquartered in Paris that develops an AI-native platform for battlefield planning and command. Its product, Prevail, helps military officers plan and strategise operations and provides post-operation analysis so units can review and train for subsequent missions. Cofounder and CEO Loic Mougeolle has described the goal as augmenting officers so they can plan and conduct operations four times faster with four times fewer people. The company says the platform has been deployed with operational units in France, Germany and Ukraine as well as other allied nations, and it is expanding from land operations into air and maritime domains across NATO markets.
Funding
Comand AI announced a EUR 8.5 million seed round in December 2024, backed by investors including Eurazeo, Frst, Kima Ventures and Tiny VC. On 17 June 2026 it raised a EUR 32 million Series A led by Blossom Capital, with Swedish defence prime Saab and Polish investor Expeditions also participating.
