Bone AI (Bone Robotics) is a defense-robotics startup headquartered in Seoul, South Korea with a US base in Palo Alto, California, founded in 2025 by serial entrepreneur DK Lee, co-founder of MarqVision and a Y Combinator alum. Bone is building a fully unified physical-AI platform that ties together software, hardware and manufacturing to produce mission-ready autonomous air (UAV), ground (UGV) and marine (USV) vehicles for defense and government clients, starting with aerial drones for logistics support, forest-fire detection and counter-drone missions. Within its first year the company generated about $3 million in revenue, landed a seven-figure B2G contract, and acquired South Korean drone maker D-Makers. In November 2025 Bone AI raised a $12 million seed round led by Third Prime with participation from Korean strategic investor Kolon Group.
